There are so many RV clubs out there, it can be difficult to narrow down your options. Fortunately, RV Pennywise has put together a guide on the best RV clubs to save you money. This list has something for every boondocking and budget-conscious RVer.

Campspace

Campspace is an online portal dedicated to helping RVers, campers, and anyone looking to spend a night in the great outdoors get a great deal on campgrounds.

The wonderful thing about this website — beyond the fact that it’s free to join — is the ability to sort campsites based on your preferred style of camping. Want to go “glamping,” or, on the flip side, find a super-affordable campsite? Done. Need a pet- or camper-friendly site? Campspace RV Club has you covered.

Boondockers Welcome

Calling all you boondockers! Boondockers Welcome offers “Free Overnight RV Parking on Private Property … Make new friends and sleep soundly.” It’s hard to argue with that! Annual membership for Boondockers Welcome is $50 and $25 for hosts.

It should be noted that Boondockers Welcome is only open to guests with self-contained RVs, meaning you can manage all your cooking, cleaning, and bathroom duties inside the RV. These sites do not have pump stations for gray and black tanks.

Happy Camper Half Price Club

The Happy Camper Half Price Club gives you discounts of up to 50% on hundreds of campgrounds around the United States. And, you can even earn money while you travel!

If you encounter a campground that isn’t a Happy Camper Half Price Club participant, your referral will earn you $25. Your membership also gives you access to an online camping guide, trip planner, and a collection of ebooks. Sign up today and become a happy camper!

Escapees RV Club (SKPs)

Escapees RV Club bills itself as a total support network for RVers, and once you see all the benefits of membership it’s easy to see why. With Escapees RV Club, you have a full-service support network while on the road.

Everything from mail scanning and forwarding, to RV park discounts, a member-driven directory, and access to exclusive Rainbow Parks (from Arizona to Tennessee).

Family Motor Coach Association

The Family Motor Coach Association is the largest non-profit group for RVers in the world. By becoming a member, you can take advantage of the FMCA RV Club’s discount club, resources, and much more.

Members are automatically enrolled in the FMCAssist program, which provides emergency medical evacuations to those 100 miles away from home (or anywhere for full-time RVers).

Good Sam RV Clubs

As a Good Sam Club member you will save 10% at more than 2,400 participating parks and campgrounds. Plus, your membership also gives you a 10% discount at popular outdoor and recreation stores such as Camping World and Gander Outdoors.

Good Sam offers other clubs as well including insurance and towing.

Recreation USA

Starting out in 1999, Recreation USA is an organization founded by campers, for campers (and RVers, too!)

Harvest Hosts

Have a self-contained RV? You can spend the night free at nearly 1,000 vineyards and farms dotting the United States and Canada. The Harvest Hosts + Golf plan also gives you access to over 350 golf courses and country clubs, as well as spa facilities and restaurants.

Elks Club (Members Only)

Choosing the RV Clubs Right for You

Try not to join too many camping-related clubs simultaneously as some discounts and benefits overlap. And not all of them will be financially beneficial depending on your destinations and camping style.

But, one or more memberships at useful RV clubs will save you money if you use them. So, they are well worth the trial and error until you’ve uncovered the gems that best fit your circumstances.
