Hi. Vince and Michelle, here. RV affiliate sites are one way you can make money on the side. And, therefore, it’s one we’re experimenting with so we can share how-to tips and results with you.
Affiliate marketing is a strategy that a company (such as Amazon.com) uses to spread the word about their products and increase sales. They offer small compensation to third-party publishers (like us) when we refer them a customer who purchases their product.
So you will see affiliate links in some of our articles. We only recommend products or services that we have investigated and truly feel deliver value to you, or that we have used ourselves. Clicking an affiliate link and purchasing an item doesn’t cost you anything extra.
Most of our affiliate programs pay between 2 – 10%. For instance, a 4% affiliate commission on a $20 item is 80 cents. It’s certainly not a get-rich-quick endeavor (regardless of what you may read on the internet). However, if you build enough traffic to your website, it can add up and help to support the cost of your time and tools in managing a website like this one.
Please note that we are not given any free products or services in exchange for mentioning them on our site. Some of the affiliate programs we participate in include Amazon, Camping World, Escapees, and Good Sam Club. We may add more, and in case we don’t list them here right away, you should assume that any links directing you to a third-party product or service could be affiliate links that we earn compensation for.
If you have any questions about our affiliate links or participation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
